| Description |
Lentiviral vector expressing dCas9 (D10A and H840A) fused to the Ten-Eleven Translocation dioxygenase 1 (TET1CD) domain. The TET1 domain facilitates the process of demethylation leading to transcriptional up-regulation. By using specific sgRNAs, the dCas9-TET1CD can be targeted to a genomic region allowing for epigenetic control over the expression of almost any gene of interest. |

Yes, this product only expresses the Cas9 or Cas-related protein. We offer genome-wide sgRNA only expressing vectors for CRISPR gene knockout (spCas9 and saCas9) and CRISPR gene activation and repression which are available through the Customize Vector option. Similarly, abm also offers Custom CRISPR Vectors and Viruses, please inquire with us to get started on your CRISPR project.

Common methods include: bisulfite sequencing, pyrosequencing, methylation-specific PCR, or methylation-sensitive restriction assays, alongside transcriptional expression analysis of the targeted gene.
